Hello :D Great entries in this competition! This is my contribution. Rendered for 60 hours (6000spp), path tracing with mlt, resolution at 2880x2160, super sampling factor 3, 2 light layers. The two carpets with displace killed my hardware :wink: . Here is the original file and the file with postpro...

to kjk: how many openings has the room to the outside? Use the exit portal? Use other lights in addition to the sun? The project is in meters? Maybe use too much bump on materials?

The edges of the walls are too flat.

The last 2 works. The first is with hdri while the second is with sun light. More or less 30 hours of cooking for each render. Post-pro in gimp (adjusting levels and saturation).
