Fantastic! Thanks for that. :) However, th erandomize loc/size/rot script is not a blender default I was thinking that too as I read through the PDF ;). Have followed same steps, but used Bake Render. As you can see, the results are much better. :D Just the teeniest seam...

Also, replaced thumbnails with full-size images above, as I understand this was giving some people headaches.

Thanks for your reply ZomB. Haven't really looked at the finalizing topics you mention but will do.
