Re: The RANCH renderfarm now supports Indigo!

Hi, thanks for the kind words. We are currently running with 3.4.16 which is the last "stable" (official) version. We tend to install only stable versions as it is less simple to install the software on 176 nodes than on a few computers, as you can imagine. It would be a nightmare to go back to an o...

Re: The RANCH renderfarm now supports Indigo!

The caterpillar_5 testscene for esitmating the delta uses SSS. Since I use Indigo RT, I am only able to render the scene without SSS, which seems to be much faster and doesn't permit an accurate estimation. Is there a way to determine the delta without SSS? Thank you! Hi cotty, I have edited the fi...

Re: The RANCH renderfarm now supports Indigo!

Hi everyone,

Just to announce that the RANCH Runner speed has been increased by 30%. Each Indigo project is now rendered by 176 dual Xeon nodes (merging time stays more or less the same thanks to software optimizations).

We also have installed 3.2.9.

Cheers,

Doesn't work for me :(
Hi,

can you be more specific? It works well for others, we had several projects with 3.2.8 these last few days.

- check our new prices on the highest priorities, you'll have a good surprise :)
- if you want to increase your in-house computing power, we have a special promotion on render servers (great prices :D )
