Hi fused, just in case you need more testscenes: 1st scene: Plain simple Extrude NURBS (crashes R9, exports fine in R11 demo), second scene: Added onto the scene until it crashed (crashes R9 and R11 demo) - that was caused by the instance: http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/forum/files/r9_crashing...

You're welcome. I just found another combination that causes a crash: The hierarchy symmetry -> array -> (object + instance) works but the hierarchy array -> symmetry -> (object + instance) crashes C4D I also tested the R11 demo with the heavy scene from the beginning and it crashed, too - even more...

:!: Hi fused, I think I nailed it down to Extrude NURBS. At least if I have a test scene with only a extrude with a text spline in the scene and try to export to indigo, Cinema crashes. There were no problems with cinemas instances - does Cindigo convert them to indigo instances ? If not it would be...

fused and PureSpider - thank you very much for all the work you have put into this ! One little problem: I have a complex model (with parametric stuff, lots of instances and symmetry, possibly booleans) that I wanted to test with the new version. I renamed cindigo.cdl_R9 to cindigo.cdl I choose to c...

Hi dmn.

No, it tonemaps the image and then tonemaps it again until the end of time.

Just noticed: pause does work, it just is not displayed in the console. But the tonemapping goes on nonetheless.

Hi PureSpider, thanks for your reply.

So the stop iusse is known, but when I click on pause or resume paused render absolutely nothing happens, so that might be a new bug - or is it the same ? I mean, when clicking stop, stopping thread is shown in the console but for pause it displays nothing.

[BUG]/Request - Stop/pause render does not work

Hi, I haven't used Indigo for a long time, did a quick test now and then wanted to stop the rendering - not by closing Indigo but by using the menu option "stop render". I was asked if I wanted to stop it, chose yes and it even displayed "Stopping render..." but it still continued to render. There w...

Hey WLAD, that video is quite nice. Just too bad that it takes so much time to render in a good quality. I also love the music - I have it running in a loop now. Could you tell me who did that song ? @fused: Is it only me or why am I getting this error, when trying to access the highQ version of you...

Hi fused !

Thank you very much for the new version. That last animation is flickering a bit but WOW ! I don't dare to ask for the render time.

Hi Phoenix, I am also talking about the darker bands around the spheres, you might have to turn down your monitor brightness to see them better. Changing the type of the sphere creates another less regular pattern. @fused: If that's no Cindigo bug I don't want to hijack your thread. If nobody can co...

So finally I will get a lava lamp for my desk :D I suppose that we will have to set the samples per pixel in advance, or will there be a function to tell indigo to stop rendering the current image and render all consecutive frames until the same quality is reached ? Regarding the meshlights: Turning...

Well, if I remove the phong tags, it looks just the same, so usually I would say that meshlights ignore phong smoothing but on the other hand I looked at the galleries and all the meshlights there are perfectly smooth. When increasing the subdivision, the pattern changes but does not go away. I also...

Here is a view where the camera has some distance to the spheres. When the camera is close, the rings are not visible. When I changed the angle to 30° in the phong tag, it had no obvious effect. Might be a bit hard to see (I used your new preset Halogen 28W). http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/for...
