Are you using the Reinhard(auto expossure) or camera setting wiht tonemapping (skindigo render settings.
If you are using Reinhard shick over to Camera boost your ISO way up over 1000 and stutter speed way down aroun 1. then see how that renders

and give it time... stop the render aroun 70spp

if I'm not mistaken, if you set your displacement map up correctly (creating the grey scales from black points/shapes) you could b.s. the blades a bit as triangles at different angles to give a bit more varity. I'm going to try this when i get some time, maybe tomorrow morning.

Displacement Grass - How does it look?

Well the other day when I was in a very little room taking a break I thought that I could make a displacement grass. Which would ease modeling of "real" grass over cuvred areas. Here is my test run: I hope this helps people, I think it will help to increase modeling speed and ease over using a clipp...

You can change that by using the SkIndigo drop down menu: Export Scene As ... It will prompt you where you would like to save the igs. After you run that once, that skp file will always save to that same location whenever you hit the render buttons. (Excellent feature whaat!) do you mean igs and no...

Strange lighting problem....

So... I gain I'm up late working/learning this kick a$$ addon to sketchup which has allowed me to have a nice sandblasted glass surface within my landscape. Now I'm trying to make the night shots (requirement of the design comp.) and as I adjusted the sittings the light seamed like they get brighter...

I was wondering if you know how to edit the code for the sk exporter so i can can the C: to \\master? Driving me insane - the master is always dumping the slaves when I render the sence right from sketch up. i have to run the .bat to make it work correctly.

Thanks.
