Re: Do Indigo/Blendigo support custom vertex normals ?
it should. if you flip normals, refraction will look odd.

crystals
I though I try an experiment and taking my crystal into Indigo renderer. its work in progress . the crystal is "crystal" clear, but for "real world" crystal I need random scattering at bottom. I will look into Indigo's shader language. https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/media_assets/images/images/000/768...

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
did you ask vray and thea user if they actually using cpu or GPU ? adding CPU gives only 20% more speed with 10 core i9, in most scenes even less. unless you 64 core threadripper. using moth makes scene laggy too. i prefer to 2:30 minutes for print rendering and have a "workable" computer then have ...

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
coolio !
but you can drop vulkan openCL,cuda and metal covers everything. vulkan is really good for realtime engines anyway, just my 2 cents..

pretty cool,

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.14 Beta
I think the denier works pretty good and superfast. topaz has problem it does not work on animation. the topaz tools are pretty awesome for upres'ing.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.14 Beta
right, but rendering without mtl and denoising, then check if it faster with MTL and without denoising, and then switch back --> locked --> then you have to through jump serval loops / clicking to be able to render any pixel again.... if would more clear to have denoise option where the render setti...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.14 Beta
right, its just confusing, if i load the scene i can't render unless in switch image tab turn off "optimize" flag, switch back to render tab and select the render-integrators. once bi -driectional mtl is rendering, i can go to image tab and turn on optmitiz flag (which turn on bucket rendering) with...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.4.14 Beta
if i load one scene i get this error (see picture). i can not render with any engine. i can't turn it off until i turn off the denoiser, after i can render. then, i can go back and turn on the denoiser on again, and render with any engine, but the bucket option goes into lock mode and turns on, whic...

Re: Houdini plugin
simple exporter for houdini should be simple but why bother, you just can use blender as an exporter?
a deeper integration into houdini would much better.
hydra makes for future, current solaris is still far away for usable rendertool.
