Re: Studio lighting tests

Thanks Doug and dmn for the scene;
This is my SkIndigo try with another rectangular emitter on the right.
I've dimmed the gain of the ringligth layer to 0.15 so the most light goes from the right.

Re: sun edges?

I've done a similar scene test, Super Sampling set to 2, there's any edges on the sun but a strange shape (square) on the wall.

Re: Turbidity

... is anyone still using a previous version of Indigo? Better: SkIndigo? I'd ask if it could be possible to do four tests with the turbidity values I've set for my latest test, and post the result, Hi Pibuz and all, I'm using Indigo 2.2.1 and SkIndigo 2.2.3. I've done four test with your turbidity...

I don't know very well what's "motion blur", it means something like movement effect?

The background is an exr that light the scene.
How does it looks?

You're right CTZn, I've darkened in Sketchup the original texture color, surely it was better the original one.

Glass needs to be 11 in that case. ok, I'm in, thanks zsouthboy Make sure you model the thickness (but I think you understand that already) :) yes, yes is the first thing I've learned :) EDIT: And your english is fine - I think you're having a tougher time understanding us than we are of you. :D :D...

The precedence number should be interpreted literally. Precedence of 2 is higher than 1, therefore material with precedence 2 will "displace" material with precedence 1. ok thank you zsouthboy; so I'm a little confused with precedence (or the fault is of my bad english :oops: ); did you see my rend...

mr_jo, the glass still has to have higher precedence than the fluid ;) thanks Kram I'm sorry for my misunderstood :oops: :oops: P.S. I have a doubt :?: example: if I have a glass with prec=1 and a fluid whit prec=2 this for me means that the fluid has higher precedence (2 major than 1), is correct?...
