Re: DoubleZ's WIP's : Ferrari 360 (and more)

Thanks ctzn. I got rid of those extra verts like you showed in the bottom left. I tried the suggestion for the other areas and they worked, but it didn't look much different and they created new problems in the same area. I'm just going to move on and maybe come back to it later. Here's a small upda...

They didn't look smooth. Maybe take a closer render of them to see it?

I don't know if they are all problems, but I just wanted to point them out.

Re: Audi TT '08

Nice godzilla!

Looks like you have some wrinkles in your mesh in a few spots, but I'm sure you can work them out (or you can always post a screenshot of your mesh).

Good job for your first car though :D

Re: Render Book(Stromberg)

Great start! I agree with all that ono said and I have a few things to add. -I didn't immediately make out what was laying in the middle on the ground. If they are metal they should be roughened up and maybe rusty. -The brick wall on the left looks a bit flat compared to the rock walls on the right ...

DoubleZ's WIP's : Ferrari 360 (and more)

Hey guys, I haven't posted anything in awhile (I haven't worked on anything for awhile :P ) so I thought I would start something again. I started another car, a Ferrari 360 Modena and I also am working on a house, but I'll post that one later. Here's what I have so far... Ferrari_360_2.png I'm not v...

Find an object with a material so I can delete it?

I imported a 3ds file and it came with materials but I want to delete all of them. I'm having a hard time finding the last few objects with materials on them though. Is there a way to just delete the material without finding the object or is there a script to find them for me? Tips?

The wheel should realy be removed, just that i had already started rendering
Maybe replace the wheel with a broken (skate)board? or maybe some tools?

Of course replacing it with nothing is fine too, I'm just throwing out some ideas.
