Re: Feedback after testing Indigo (requests+bugs)

Indigo ? She ? Haha wtf :D

Might be a joke, I don't know. To me a renderer is masculine.

Re: Feedback after testing Indigo (requests+bugs)

Try Corona (tonemapping) and compare it to Indigo, you'll see the difference and understand how I feel. But you might be right! I struggled with tonemapping. Something I don't like from renderers in General, is when I don't know how it works. Some renderers dosen't have tonemapping (post-color corre...

Re: Feedback after testing Indigo (requests+bugs)

Hi Oscar, You are right about most of it. But don't forget, it's CGI, not real life. Being able to cheat on stuff not related to unbiased engine (like include/exclude) is always nice to speed up the workflow/work imo :). For the lighting tho, I didn't had a great experience. It works, it's beautiful...

Re: Feedback after testing Indigo (requests+bugs)

I seriously loved the MTL. Some unique render-engine features making Indigo...an unique renderer compared to the rest. And very fast for such complex calculations! Thanks for making it available on C4D. I hope it will help fused!

Feedback after testing Indigo (requests+bugs)

Hi, I've heard about Indigo for a long time now, I saw some friends doing some incredible renders with it and that makes me want to try it out myself. The engine itself is very good and very promising. It's fast (CPU version, not RT), DoF are cleaning very well (not common, quite a good point) and I...

Re: Black Render - Tonemapping bug

UPDATE : It works. Since I changed a lot of values without having a results I don't know what exactly made it work. Current workflow : Indigo Material > diffuse type > color 0% brightness > base emission : Emission Scale ON + Lumen 100000 EDIT : After more tests, Emission scale ON made it work. Came...

Re: Black Render - Tonemapping bug

Hi fused, thank you for the welcome and your help! It makes sense but unfortunetely, I just did a test using blackbody (and others) still nothing, still black. I cramp up values very high just to see if I was not too low...still black :) I'm starting to think it's a bug. Only Reinhard works. Should ...

Black Render - Tonemapping bug

Hi, New Indigo user here, and I'm testing a bit everything. I'll create a new post about my personnal feedback but until then I would like to fix an issue I found : I'm using a hi quality HDRI, and when I change the tonemapping mode from Reinhard to anything else, it dosen't work. My render (scene) ...
