[ Request ] Sci-fi high resolution renders

Hello! I haven't posted much in a year or so as my work hours exploded and took all my free time. I'm still alive though and have been looking on the forums every now and then for some really good sci -fi renders. I bought a fantastic BenQ fp241 monitor and am always on the lookout for something uni...

He's probably just a douchebag.. they do exist, and thinking this way will let you sleep at night lol

"I reject your reality and substitute my own safe universe in it's place." whatever floats his boat.

It isn't really a question of whether a gpu can accelerate rendering or not, I've run gelato on my 8800gts320 and it cranks out the frames (theres a decent Blender exporter to Gelato). I understand it's a different animal to a GI renderer but from what I've read CUDA is best at crunching a long stre...

Accelerate Indigo 10-50x with CUDA ...

Maybe some smart programmer type could write up a program to take advantage of the new Nvidia CUDA... http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_learn.html Nvidia CUDA sounds pretty fast (think 10-50x as fast as dual core) and some of the applications already developed use python. http://fastra.ua.ac.be/en/i...

I'm talking about real 3d shutterglasses. Not Red-blue glasses. Shutterglasses work by blocking an image from each eye back and forth at a certain frequency and your brain perceives it as a true 3d image. Pretty convincing actually. Nothing like a quake 3 rocket flying at you that looks like it just...

Nice! Your stuff is always fantastic. Try something other than rooms!!!
Instead of saying "my last work" which implies it would be your final project, say "my latest piece" or "my latest project" which is more what you mean I think.

Nvidia GPU physics engine up and running, almost

From TGDAILY n order to demonstrate the physics horsepower of the GeForce 8800/9800 series, Hegde took aim at Intel's eight-core Nehalem particle demo, which can be seen in one of our IDF articles. Back in Shanghai for IDF Spring 2008, our own Humphrey Cheung filmed Intel's demo and a statement from...
