There's something akin to this with LightWave as well, FPrime. It'd be interesting to see Indigo that tied in with apps, I think the closest regarding Indigo is via XSI at the moment, regarding integration.

Anyway...

That normal length error sounds right on, though... It'll put a damper on all the inverse "black" rendering objects & the collective threads they produce here.

Also, going by what Ono posted, seems he's got an EYE on what's up with Blendigo... Good times... :D

Whoops... I opened quite the Pandora's box. :D I have to say, the error output was quite verbose & instructional, though... And, I don't think it would be difficult to write a script to snip out all those oddities in the .igm files... Has anyone brought this up in the Blendigo or other respective ex...

Thanks, that did the trick. :)

This block:

Code: Select all

<expose_uv_set>
<index>0</index>
<name>uv</name>
</expose_uv_set>
...seems to cause the error.

Seems to exit if an object has no UV set on exporting from Blendigo. "UV set with index 0 was exposed, but the UV set data was not provided." Is this Blendigo or Indigo causing that error?

The minimal setup for MR looks tasty. That is laughable if the real-time lighting needs "multiple quad-core CPUs" though, I certainly hope that's only in software mode. :roll:

The ultimate help I could give, is use Kerkythea for clip map based renders. It's much more forgiving regarding convenient things like that & there's less geometrical/lighting jerking about involved.

Thanks, it looks okay, but I'll go ahead and post it.

I think it may be something to do with the fact that I have a multiboot system, and use the Subst command to set the H: drive as the C: drive. It's never affected anything else, but does that sound likely? :?

I get this error when I try to check the Preview tab:
Can't find : C:\Indigo\C:\Indigo\renders\im1200743681.png
It seems to double the Indigo path for some reason? I'd love to see that working, the rest is great. :)

You may also want to try tweaking the HSV values of your colors with such over-saturation. I've noticed Saturation is a little sensitive for transparent materials, and Value can be so with diffuse materials.

There's an option in the "Material" tab in Blendigo to set the material type to "External." Just set up a dummy material in Blender with the *same* name of the material in the .igm file, then click the little "..." next to the External material box.. I tested it & it works with the juice.igm, just l...

Would you have to make them real, I think you could use instances via DupliVerts, yes? If you enable "Rot" under "Dupliverts" you can get some random rotation too. There will be much less geometry to try & export this way. Here's my workflow: - Create your mesh for scattering/instancing. - Create th...

I know that sort of thing is possible in biased renderers, like MentalRay. It may conflict with what unbiased renderers are about, but it would certainly be a sensible feature, somewhat like exit portals. :)

for the record, " extra atmospheric" means out of the atmosphere. When it's turned on, attenuation and scattering in the atmosphere is turned off; the incident sun radiation is equivalent to that at the outer edge of the Earth's atmosphere. It's basically for rendering in a vacuum. Indigo. In. Spaa...
