Re: Mitsuba renderer
Ok I export a OBJ-File. But does a OBJ-File also contain the lightsources from my Blenderfile ? And how do I have to setup Materials, Sunlight,... ? Do I have to edit an *.xml file ? BTW: It also supports instancing geometry, see here: http://www.mitsuba-renderer.org/devblog/ Did anyone did some hea...

Re: Error with Testingscene
Thanks for your help !
How did you find out that mesh108 had no material assigned to it ?
Did you check each Object by hand ?
I made the Model in Sketchup, thats why Objects are not named properly.
Exitportals are still not supported by Pathtracing GPU-Mode, right ?
Kind regards
Alain

Error on simple Kitchenscene
I imported a Scene from Sketchup into Blender. Did setup some Material (some inked to external Materialfiles *.igm). When I hit F12 everything renders fine in Indigo RT. Then I close Indigo RT and go back to Blender to change one Material which was linked to a *.igm File before to a Specularmaterial...

Error with Testingscene
Hi I'm using the new Official Release of Blender 2.62 and the Exportscript 3.2.12.0. I'm using the Testversion of Indigo RT. I have the Error: Error: [Indigo 2012-May-10 07:50:45] 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'indigo_material' It's a Scene which I was using for testing Cycles. When I assign th...

Re: portal problem with Indigo GPU
Is this this implemented meanwhile ?Hi gzavye,
We do indeed plan to both add multi-GPU support, and to support bidirectional path tracing with GPU acceleration.
Kind regards

Re: some (many) questions and critics
Hi saudade, E) Why don't you develop serious plugins integrated with the 3d applications? Maxigo is a script, not all Indigo 3.0 parameters are implemented. If you set a background with a black rgb value Indigo crashes. If you put in the scene target ies lights Indigo will stop, you can add only fr...

Yes same texturepath error here.
I guess dougal2 will fix it ASAP.
How do you test new releases ?
Kind regards
Alain

Re: Method comparison
Yes you right headroom. I just found out as well that there was no directlight because of the exitportal I use in this scene. In other words these means for interiors: GPU and glass acceleration makes it faster, but the fact that you can't use exitportals in PT (GPU) makes it slower again ? How mutc...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.58) 3.0.10.1
The pencil has just been sharpened  http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11022 thanks for the hint. but this (beta-)release has still not alot to do with a real sharpened pencil... or do I expect to mutch ? I have this error with the new Blendigo: Bildschirminhalt erfassen-...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.58) 3.0.10.1
And what about material- and texture preview ? I can't believe such a basic function is not implemented in Blendigo. I hope I did something wrong ;-) Kind regards Alain Before, it was possible to export preview scene. Now you can't export from blendigo but you can still use preview scene and try yo...

Re: Method comparison
It seems that my brain just can't handle this.
I added thickness, normals pointing outward.
Result after more than an hour of rendering: What else could be wrong ?

Re: Method comparison
Yes I'm sure. I even reduced the scene by it's polycounting carpetpatches. After 10mins: Bildschirminhalt erfassen-1.jpg I guess I do some fundamental things wrong ;-) Glass is a specular material with transparence enabled. Glass geometry is just one face, normal poiting inward. What may be wrong ? ...
