A macOS version that natively support Apple silicon would indeed be nice.
I suspect, however that this is a serious effort due to the differences in architecture of the graphics hardware.

Re: Do Indigo/Blendigo support custom vertex normals ?
If you delete the "Custom Vertex Normals Super High Rez STL" the file will get a lot smaller. Exporting the model in this high resolution version was the only somewhat acceptable workaround prior to this fix. The other two models, can serve perfectly fine to demonstrate the effect. Also, this model ...

Re: Do Indigo/Blendigo support custom vertex normals ?
Attached is a zip file containing the Blender file. The main object was exported from a CAD software as a triangulated mesh in two different resolutions as a .obj. The .obj data contains custom vertex normals. The .stl object has a similar resolution as the lower resolution .obj. The material on the...

Re: colors in blender vs indigo
@Zalewsky I think the term "inexerienced" is a mischaracterization. Depending on what you use Indigo for you may simply not care. This issue, for example does not matter that much to me, although I appreciate that you and @MX are addressing it.

Re: colors in blender vs indigo
As an external material the .igm file would look like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <scenedata> <material> <name>diffuse_white</name> <diffuse> <albedo> <constant> <rgb> <rgb>0.8 0.8 0.8</rgb> <gamma>2.2</gamma> </rgb> </constant> </albedo> </diffuse> </material> </scenedata>

Re: colors in blender vs indigo
I am looking through the exporter code to see if this behavior can be changed. In the meantime, would an external material work ?

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.7 Release
@wob the textures contain proprietary spectral distribution data. The textures were created by user @glalinette who at the time was an employee of Saint Gobain. If it is that important to you, rather than speculating what could/should/would have been done in the past, then contact Saint Gobain direc...
