Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.7 Release
First of all, I want to express my sadness and disappointment that Indigo seems a bit dead right now, although it is a powerful and very fast renderer. I'm just wondering why the developers don't turn this software into open-source, since there is no official support anymore. Secondly, I have a tech...

Hi, there is a problem with 32-bit textures (as light) on GPU. Is there any solution?

Indigo optimisation for Apple M1 / M1 pro / M1 max
Hi guys, I hope you're doing well.
Just wanted to ask if you're planning a M1 compatible version.
Since Apple has released a super fast new chip with up to 4x the GPU speed of 5600m and CPU speeds equal to a 12core xeon, I guess Indigo could run amazing if optimised.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Hi there,
there is a problem saving .exr (32bit only) in 4.6.0 standalone, color spin wheel appears, never disappears.
All other formats ok including 16-bit exr.
my system is MacOS 10.13.6, import from C4d (latest beta)

Projector Lighting
Trying to do a project for a client that needs projector lighting. Since it is not available in indigo yet, I'm trying octane... which among others, is terribly slow in complex scenes. Missing so much Indigo Engine.. Hey team, please consider adding this feature. I'm so allergic to other rend...

IES lighting + other lighting
Hi, just noticed that I can't use IES and other lighting at the same time. Is this a general issue or a bug of the latest beta?

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
Exactly, compared to your benchmark page, Windows/ bootcamp results are on track, while macOS is lower, but my system is old (nvida 980) and drivers may be the issue

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
thanks for the reply fused,
the issue with lower opencl performance in macOS compared to Windows (-40% speed) isn't a matter of opencl drivers?
also glad to read about for the projection lighting feature note

Re: Indigo Dev Update Q4 2020
Hi fused, that's great news for the future of Indigo, I wish Metal performs better that OpenCL in MacOS, especially with the newly released AMD rx 6000 series. I would like to ask you also, if you have any other plans feature-wise to share with us. Projection lighting for example is a feature I woul...

Ηi,
Kind reminder about the issue I have with licenses after installing this beta. Downgraded to 4.4.13 and the issue persists.
Also I've sent you an email at support@

Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.4.13.1
Hi Originalplan, Still on old frakintosh, as long as it lives! (and Apple prices are crazy) My macOS is 10.13.6 (17G9016) The issues occur both in R19 and R23, I think not related to Metal requirements. NVIDIA driver 387.10.10.10.40.132 I was working perfectly before the last two betas. Also the mai...
