none of the previous tutorials work as exposed.

I tried step by step many times. Changed actual sizes on textures. Checked for scales. Searched for answers all over the forum. I can't get it to work on my laptop.

that video would come SO handy . i am struggling with the UV mapping UI. And by struggling I mean: no results after hours of trial and forum search.

I tried every single step. Over and over. New files. Different subdivisions. Nothing makes it work.
