Hey, cool - what Blender version(s) is this compatible with?
[edit] ...saw it's working with 3.4 - great! Thanks!

Re: Blendigo 4.3.0 - Blender 2.8
Hi, I'm having some other issues when trying to render an animation using motion blur - I get errors that a certain igmesh is being used by another process, or that a certain material is not defined. When I turn off motion blur the frames render without errors. I'll try to capture the exact error te...

Re: Blendigo 4.3.0 - Blender 2.8
Hi, I get this error when I try to export a scene: Export > Indigo Scene (I know most people just use the regular render button, which works fine, but I have an old habit of exporting the scene and then running Indigo separately...) Same error with both Blender 2.83 and 2.9 Traceback (most recent ca...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.65
... But, would it be possible to add the option to add cameras, or preview pane angles, so that we could snap-navigate between different angles of a scene?... This would be great, and it would be amazing to integrate with exporters to capture multiple cameras that you would set up in your modeling ...

Re: Better render settings for this object/material
10000 spp is a lot...
yeah, that's just a crazy complex image to resolve with so many reflections and refractions. I wonder if something like photon mapping would eventually help this out - I believe that was once in the works as an additional rendering option, it but I don't know what happened to it.

Re: Better render settings for this object/material
the thing about straight BiDir Pathtracing is it tends to keep clearing up progressively. MLT will show you the pretty caustics sooner, but the overall noise level does not decrease in such a linear way. I used to swear by MLT for everything, but Indigo's normal PT has gotten super fast.

Re: colors in blender vs indigo
doesn't this have to do with Blender's color settings vs the Blendigo export gamma? the color viewing space is editable in Blender's scene tab under color management. But I have also previously edited the Blendigo file to change the the gamma of exported colors (gamma.py, I think...)

Re: Heavy mesh redering
I routinely export meshes from zbrush with many millions of polys and Indigo can handle basically anything you throw at it, as long as you have enough ram... I use blender, so for efficiency in the viewport you can work with a proxy, lower-resolution version, which is linked to the high-res obj.

Re: Loaner machine with a good GPU needed
Hi, I am just bumping this in case someone may be able to help. I have solid dates for the exhibition now, from August 7-18th. The gallery staff has attempted to run my simulation on their computers and of course it doesn't work at all, so I am getting slightly desperate. Please get in touch if ther...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.18 Beta Release
this looks awesome.
can you explain how to apply the render channels? they don't seem to do anything here...
[edit]
nvermind, I found the little dropdown menu above the render viewport. great!

Re: Help creating displacement map
with flooring like this you shouldn't need actual displacement, just use your texture as a bump map and you will get more realistic results. displacement is more often used for larger details and where you need to see that the actual geometry is displaced. fine cracks in the floor won't require this.

Loaner machine with a good GPU needed
Hi, I am just throwing this out there on the off chance someone might be able and willing to help... I have a computer simulation artwork I made in Unreal Engine that will be exhibited in London in August and I'm trying to coordinate the proper hardware for the gallery to properly run it. They have ...

Re: New user with Indigo/Blender-problem (OS X)
grab the newest Blendigo from the forum thread there: https://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14793 the "Archive" zip version... then install in Blender from the add-ons –"Install add-on from file" selecting the zip you downloaded. Indigo should then show up as an option in the rend...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.2.14 Beta Release
I would second this request: being able to 'include' other scenes through the exporters would be super helpful. I hacked my version of Blendigo to include cameras like this - after tweaking in Indigo I save a separate igs with just the camera settings and then in Blender I can browse to include tha...
