Nvidia Tesla for Indigo Renderer?

Hi All, I recently bought a job lot of graphics cards from eBay containing a few Tesla's. I bought them all in the hope of using the AMD FirePro W9100 32GB that was part of the bundle and selling majority of the others. I was wondering if a Tesla could be set up to work through renders in Indigo, wh...

Re: Indigo for Revit 4.0.66.1

Is there a way of getting RPCs to work? Or how is best to put planting in the model?

Re: Some new work

thanks bubs, some useful textures on that site. I'll have a look at that bricks n tiles, I've been meaning to do a model of my house and the extension I am currently building, though at the moment I am spending more time actually building it with no time to render it!

Re: Some new work

The brickwork for the house, is that the random brickwork material that is in the materials library? Did you scale it to around lifesize bricks then adjust window position to match the coursing? Looks amazing

Re: Indigo for Revit Architecture

Thanks Silmä for your replies. Once I have finished actually building my extension and I have the time I will model something and render it using Revit. Just as the default materials doesn't look too bad, would be great to see your competition entry once you are able to post it!

Thanks

Indigo for Revit Architecture

Has anyone got any examples of images created using Revit? It would be really interesting and helpful to see a few to show what it is capable of. I am planning on modelling my house and extension in Revit as practice as I have recently started using the software at my new workplace and so I wanted t...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.0.48 Beta Release

Hey guys, here's something to look at: Since 4.0.48, foreground alpha produces an outline around the objects, but only in GPU mode. Just noticed it when putting in white backgrounds after days and days of rendering :-( See the attached files... any ideas, or is it a bug? All renders done with GPU (...

Re: Internal Render

-Materials is not exactly correct. Especially Lamps, wood, windows frames, leather and metals - try fix IOR numbers and roughness. You can use materials from material library or look for right values of each material. -You can also try camera tonemapping agfapan-aps-25CD, it is one of most dynamic ...

Re: Internal Render

Nice, the first image is promising. :) A couple of things though: at day time, the exterior light should far overpower the lamps inside, and will probably also give a more interesting lighting than those roof spots. Also, for interior lights you'll generally want to use a much warmer light temperat...

Re: Internal Render

Thanks Oscar, I will have a look later on at adjusting the light layers and see what I can do with it. For the background, would you suggest over exposing it a touch, that might help a bit too. I do need to model better spot lights, as they aren't realistic at all! Juju, the FOVs were -Terrace Room ...

Internal Render

A few images I produced for a client through work. The model was done in SketchUp, the majority of it was done by myself though I did also use some items from 3D warehouse etc. I used an alpha mask and inserted a photo of the actual background of the view. The building is located in Fowey, Cornwall....

Re: IndigoBench - Indigo CPU and GPU benchmark

@Lycium

What sort of temperatures/cooling have you got for your overclocked 1070? I'm thinking of puttng together a dual 1070 machine (relying on selling my current pc) and was wondering what sort of cooling I would need for the GPUs?
