Re: mayaToIndigo alpha release

As a workaround you can create the shaders by hand and connect them.
e.g. with mel command:

createNode "inDiffuse";

Then you can assing it to the geomety as usual.

Please download it from here: http://openmaya.net/openmaya/mayatoindigo/mtin_download.php It is exactly the old plugin but for Maya2015 and Maya2016. I hope I can extend it's functionality soon and update it for the n...

Re: Live Plugin for Maya

Haggi, it would be nice to export the scene to indigo standalone as in MtI because we can move the camera and should be easier to implement that in render view. Is it? Were is the scene being write to? What is happening? Witch ccp file is handling the export to indigo and how the export is made? Ca...

Re: mayaToIndigo alpha release

The plugin is still in quite early stages. But I hope I can implement interactive updates soon, so that we have an IPR feeling for Indigo in maya. And I thought about a node editor setup for visual programming of ISL shaders. Should be possible even if it is a bit of work. Could be fun if I manage s...

Re: mayaToIndigo alpha release

Yea, that's correct, but all my plugins are named this way as you can see here http://www.openmaya.net/, so I decided to leave the name as it is even if it is a bit confusing.

mayaToIndigo alpha release

Hi, I've written an plugin for maya which renders directly from maya. It is not an exporter but a integrated plugin. It is still in a very early stage and has nothing to do with the other maya to indigo scripted plugin which exports maya scenes as indigo files. It is a compiled plugin what means tha...
