Re: Indigo 4.2 Release
Exciting news, congrats to Nick and all the person involved in the development of the best render engine one can find! :) As I’m planning to update my RT license to a full one (even if I don’t do a lot of 3D those days...) to encourage the future development of Indigo I don’t seem to find any incen...

You should have the link in your e-mail if you still have it!
... Or you'll have to contact Nick for the link, I'm afraid...
Good luck!

Re: H2o2 rendering thread
Hi there, here are some new renders, still with Indigo RT as i didn't take the plunge on the full Indigo license yet. Those are some tests of lighting tweaks on a (very) basic room, together with some shameless reuse of assets already done for other scenes. Hope you'll like them ! Cheers, ...

Re: H2o2 rendering thread
Unfortunately not, and i agree it would be great to be able to use those light layers !Oscar J wrote:Indigo RT doesn't have Light Layers?
You're gonna LOVE Indigo full then.
Soon, when i finally get my hands on full Indigo license.
Cheers,
Laurent aka Tartiflette.

Re: Silverwings Render Corner
Please forgive all my questions: What application do you use to do your tone mapping in 32 bit mode? Photoshop seems very limited in that area. I've trying to get into 32 bit post pro for a while now, but Photoshop does a terrible job with tone mapping (unless I'm missing something). Are you using ...

Re: Known issue ? Blend material and architectural glass
Awesome! I'm sure it'll be worth every penny! Hope to see Indigo in a larger studio someday, where I could go in and say, hey I am working in Indigo, and they are all like, aaah yes, we are using it too, instead of looking at me like I fell from some different planet. If you decide to use a coating...

Re: H2o2 rendering thread
The second series: were they done using Light layers? Are they all the same render? Like em a lot. :) Thanks for the kind words ! :) No light layers, unfortunately, as i'm using Indigo RT "only" for now. I need to buy the upgrade to the full Indigo license, now that i'm really starting to use it. :...

Re: H2o2 rendering thread
Also, what is your modeling app, Tarti? My workflow is a bit of a mess but here it is : - Modeling with LightWave. (so used to it after 20 years) - First pass texturing in LightWave. (where i bake the RAW color as well as a specular map and a bump map usually) - Second pass texturing, if needed, wi...

Here is the lamp shade material i had before, with the artifacts unfortunately.

Re: H2o2 rendering thread
Mr. Bertrand Benoit? You mean: the Wizard? No: he doesn't make so-so renders. He can't. Yeah, this one ! I agree, as i often say : "When i'm all grown up, i would like to be Bertrand Benoit !" (The fact that i'm a lot older than he is isn't relevant in this case ! ;) ) Cheers, Laurent aka...
