Re: [repost] Need advice about GPU choice.
Now I did some tests with my GPUs: I rendered the caterpillar testscene for 3min: Radeon HD 5850 SPP : 268,18 GPU Load: ~60% Geforce GTX 560Ti SPP : 299 GPU Load: ~40% Geforce GTX 660 Ti SPP : 316 GPU Load: ~30% I would like to see the result of a Radeon HD 7950 or 7970. i have both in the same boa...

Re: GTX680 vs. HD7970 ... same performance ?
Indigo Renderer can only use 1 card at a time, Bug#1. No Bug, Indigo simply only supports one GPU in GPU mode! Bug#2 ... they measure exactly the same spp & ks/s. Maybe no Bug, but your CPU is maybe way older, and can't feed any of your cards with data fast enough, so they are having the same speed...

Re: [REQ] official benchmark
for gaming Benchmark, Cinebench 11 GPU Benchmark is enough. others like Passmark Performance Test 8 etc... but for Raytracing Benchmark with GPU &/or CPU the best so far: LuxMark 2.0 & ratGPU. the nice thing about ratGPU is that it can change the size of the Render to FullHD or more, and Increase or...

Indigo renderer & NVIDIA Physics ?
I´ve seen Bullet physics for Blender,
and new NVIDIA Physics for Autodesk 3D Max, Maya & built-in Softimage.
my question is how does that affect Inidigo Renderer?
How does integrate?
Does IR need an update to take advantage of Nvidia or Bullet Physics ?
Thanks.

GTX680 vs. HD7970 ... same performance ?
Hi, both cards in the same PC, GTX680 & HD7970 Indigo Renderer can only use 1 card at a time, Bug#1. ... Bug#2 ... they measure exactly the same spp & ks/s. CUDA vs. OpenCL1.2 8 compute units vs. 32. 1050Mhz vs. 925Mhz Caterpillar Image looks different, at 6minutes. or Nvidia OpenCL 1.1 vs. AMD Open...
