Re: The RANCH renderfarm now supports Indigo!
Hi, just to let you know that we now have 3.2.8 (x64) installed on the RANCH. Fred Doesn't work for me :( Hi, can you be more specific? It works well for others, we had several projects with 3.2.8 these last few days. Fred Ah, sorry. Yeah, RANCH kept crashing for me yesterday, but turns out my flat...

Re: EnvMap + (fake) Sun Tutorial
Thanks for the tut Zom-B! All the the renders are also quite encouraging that this is a great tip. Gonna have a look into it tonight. I must have read something about this in Bertrand Benoit's (old and superb Indigo user) blog. He showed some workarounds to get sharper shadows working with EXR or HD...

Re: Indigo for Photo.
Great render! Looks pretty realistic alreay, though I have to agree, some bumps along the road always add character :
Ok. Can I also request to have bumps on the column & floor,
a little rough, and details on the model... That would make it much photorealistic

Very nice! I like the uneven patches in the grass. That makes it very three dimensional.
I think the reflections in the glass are well done. Thanks for uploading!

I really like the first one. The light is great and texture, as well. How is it coming along? Or are you on something new?

Re: power pole/isolator
That's a shame, could you not model something else, like a pair of shoes tied together, or some sparks? 8) a bolt of lightning might also be cool. I found this cool photo that has the most amazing colours in the sky (by Vadim Ponomarenko) Though it might be a bit too far away for the power line etc...

Re: Rocking Chair
Great work. The mapping looked very good and the way you included textures and lighting also feels right.
Cudos to Haig, as well. I do love a good rocking chair.

Re: Recent Work
I like the last one best. Looks the most real, though it could use a bit of decoration (leaves, signs, etc)
The second one has a great sky. I think the first one could use some shadow for depths, especially with the flowers.
Though I still think it's very nice, overall.
