Re: Having big problems lighting this scene
Guys, I'm blown away! Quick responses that have been incredibly helpful. Thank you Voytech for uploading a new sketchup file for me to work with. The scene lights up so much better than I was expecting. I've learnt a lot from your setup. I don't have a good photography background so perhaps reading ...

Having big problems lighting this scene
Hi Guys, I really hope someone can help me. I've tried several times to make a studio setting light up some of our frames correctly. The end result I want is the example file. Nice and clean white which I just can't seem to reproduce despite having the walls and lighting set to white. I'm quite inex...

Re: Light brightness won't change
Hi,
Thank you for the link, very helpful indeed!
The product in the file is one of our actual units we intend to render. You're right that it is anodised aluminium and your material reference is also very helpful.
Thanks again for your help and input.

Hide objects from final render
Hi again,
I have a scene with several lights which I've made out of simple cubes which I don't want to see in the final render. I want the light to emit from the objects but not to be visible to the camera.
Is it possible to achive this?
Thanks in advance,
Puck

Light brightness won't change
Hi Guys, We purchased Indigo RT and have been using the Sketchup plugin which we want to use to render several of our products for our latest catalogue. My plan is to build a light rig which I can just drop products into to speed the process up. I don't seem to be able to change the light strength t...
