Re: Non-Photorealistic Renders (dun dun dun....)
to my feeling even a non-photorealistic approach could show a little more detail, it feel's like some of your filters overdo that sketch-look you're trying to create. fe the brick wall in the first image, distortion of the single bricks is a little rough anyway i really appreciate the courage to sho...

Re: First rendering with Indigo for Sketchup
Good overall quality, but it lacks of good composition. Your viewpoint feels to high. Even if you're 1,8m tall, your camera viewpoint feels more natural when choosing lower height.
for example I'd choose 0,8-1,2m for close-up shots or 1,4-1,6m for wide-angle shots.
best regards

As far as i looked into this, there's no rule that says you have to use SketchUP, right?

Re: Textures
http://www.pixplant.com/ Didn't try this software myself yet, but I've heard it was able to create your own set of seamless textures. Its's even able to create different maps for diffuse, spec, bump/displacement/normal channels. I love my arroway textures but every now and then you won't find that s...

Re: WIPs: CTZn
WOW, this is simply stunning!!!
Is it possible to use this shader as volume noise for arch viz on plane scenes, or is this only usable on earth-scaled scenes.
Would love to test it in a huge scaled cube flying above an arch viz scene
best regards!
