Thanks guys! I'm glad that i generated this discussion. I know that in real life it would probably be a layer of dots that fade. but good luck doing that in sketchup. it could also just be spray mirror paint on the surface (which would look more like the indigo render. Just change the gradient map to fit your needs, it controls the fading. Double check that you use gama 2.2 for the texture in Indigo!Zom-B wrote:elDiego wrote:just wish the fading was a bit more drastic.

Thanks, I'm far from being a pro, so I don't really know how to create a blend material from scratch ( I tried with no luck) I do have my ways around it though.
