Thanks for the help guys but to be fair kind of got another big issue now, i mean my boss has just bought a new power p.c today so the rendering ain't a problem anymore, setting the scene is starting to cause me some trouble, i use sketchup to model it as its a fairly simple scene so didn't need too...

sorry for double post but i've sorted it, although i could not see the light coming from the actuall light its self its because the other brighter lights wer emitting so the room was bright, anyway i learned just to leave the efficiency

hey,
What i find is if you look at your ies in a viewer the actually light piece itsself 9 times out of 10 isnt lit up, what you should do is when your done with your render, take it to photoshop and light the light piece while your touching your final images up
