Re: Oscar's rendering thread
Superb! I do agree with the comments of other people here, and I got one more; The curve of the side window is quite segmented (I can count 6 segments there  ) And besides some minor technical glitches, the mood, camera angle, colors are just outrageously good, and I think that's the hardes...

Re: Oscar's rendering thread
Really great work on the Artega and Enzo render. Looking forward to the finished Aston render.
Regarding the Aston image, I don't feel that the picture is about the car, it blends in too much (that might be a good thing too though..)

Re: SkIndigo 3.6.16 (beta) - updated 27 June 2013
Hi Whaat, nice work! I still have a problem though. I have SU 2013 installed, the following issue occurs with the 3.6 beta aswell with the older stable version of Skindigo. When I apply a bumpmap in the material editor the ticking box automatically untics itself after pressing "Accept" in the 'assig...

Re: Mies van der Rohe
Great renders! I really like the one with the strong contrast, very nice!
But what's up with the reflection (?) in the leather sofa and chair? As stated before the GA is a bit too much I think.

Very nice and little improvements! But 38hours is outrageous! What render and lightning method do you use? Have you added exit portals?

Thanks for the comments guys! yep, something has gone wrong with the floor texture, it's one from Arroway textures and tiled at the correct size.. Must've been something done by SU... Regarding the tree, it is from xfrog. And you're not going to like this, but it was just imported as a .3ds w...

Unexpected
Hi guys! Here's a new image I've just finished, made the scene yesterday evening and photoshopped it today. Oh yeah, I call it "Unexpected" because of the tree surrounded by concrete. There's more symbolism to it, anyone can fill that in for themselves or share it here if they like! 559.jpg 557.jpg ...

Re: Building renovation
Thanks for the comments guys! Yes noticed the MacBook, it's sunken in a little.. Damn it! Sofa is from Designconnected, the log is a heavy modified one from the warehouse, if you want I can share. The project, from scratch -> design -> 3D -> Rendering (with tons of revisions in between) took about 4...

Re: Coating material tests
There has been a somewhat similar request for an ambient occlusion pass/info, which is a lot more complicated. Nice materials! Can't wait to try and make a fruit pie with a nice jelly coating on top of it :D About that ambient occlusion, I'm still holding you on that one! Would finally make those m...
