Re: RGB Mood Lamp

This overall idea & the execution of the prototype are really interesting & full of possibilities! By the finish of the "tripod" legs it looks like you are thinking about a freestanding version as well..? It also lends itself to a ceiling & suspended versions & versions of different size diameters.....

Very very nice.

Headroom
Thanks. Lighting is still a passion of mine.
Even though a lot of people ask does the world really need another chair, lamp, etc, someone always comes up with a new design to answer...YES!!

Will Revit plug-in be sold separate from full Indigo. Lic.?

We have tried the demo for a while & would consider buying it if it we didn't have to buy it with a full Indigo Lic. We already have 2 full Indigo Lic. & additional nodes. Will the plug- in ever be for sale or free by itself as just a plug-in like Skindigo? If not can one or both of our Indigo Lic. ...

Is the Revit Plug-in going to be developed further?

My office has multiple licenses of Revit, Indigo & Sketchup. We use Revit exclusively for design & documentation. For rendering we export to SU then render in Indigo. However, it would be nice to have the Indigo plug-in more developed to really use it with Revit. Right now it's a little expensive to...

Re: Pendant Light Display

Much improved again! I like vertical format, more simple wall/ceiling connection, higher ceiling, tan chairs. That all helps the eye focus on the fixture first. It's interesting that the horizontal lines of the room & table accentuate the horizontal lines of the fixture & the turned chair helps brea...

Re: Pendant Light Display

The straight on view is much better! I also think the ceiling could be at least 1-2 feet higher. But the camera should remain exactly where it is. I like the camera eye level showing the shape of the top & a peek into the bottom. You can see the lighting effect on the ceiling which is good. And I th...

Re: Pendant Light Display

Put it over a table. Having it so close to a floor looks a bit funny. I'd say put a table and a couple of simple chairs under it, perhaps a book on the table, and it should fill up. Pretty cool lamp! Those are good suggestions. It's also a good opportunity to use Indigo depth of field to accentuate...

Re: Output format

We have been experimenting with Photomatix HDR software ($100.) for both raw architectural photos & for Indigo. Since Indigo is based on photography, we thought that we would try the same technique for combining multiple exposures in Indigo using Photomatix....it works & can give you various effects...

Re: Real Project #1-Mixed Use in Louisiana (post 2 of 2)

Thanks for the comments. This project has been fun to design & render...(but not to model!) Although the exterior views have more of an architectural model effect . Like our other projects it would be good to use better vegetation, textures, furniture components...... and learn how to render with mo...

Re: Real Project #4- Corner House in Tennessee

Besides the queries are all For the Author ? I probably can expect answers to them ? "Queries for you to either refer or answer: 1. How much time did it take you ( /team) to model this with the landscaping on revit and then on sketchup individually ? 2. Why didn't you chose revit indigo for renderi...
