Re: Blendigo 3.8.5.2

I remember some time ago you could choose an environment map directly in Blendigo. Is this option still included? I can't find it. It would be extremely useful for animations.

Re: Optical vignetting test

This is awesome! When will it be implemented? I'm very eager to render my scenes with a less than perfect lens :D

Re: Green living

Very nice! I must say that the ca in the second image is way too hefty. It is visible even in this small version.

Re: RJ45

I'm amazed no one has replied to this yet. This is a truly phenomenal technical render. The attention to detail is superb. Did you use any actual blueprints while making this?

Re: Ubuntu Studio Wallpaper

I am sorry it took me so long to read, thank you for answering Olis ! No problem at all  I suppose that the region could be patched with a transparent border to avoid such a seam (feather borders, for selections in Photoshop). That's kind of what I did. I did it with the eraser tool instead.

Re: Ubuntu Studio Wallpaper

I'm very interested in the region rendering (see my last posted wip, the chromed, front parts of the couch). Can you give more details on the compositing aspects involved, if any ? Sorry it took such a long time to respond. I rendered the complete image for about 50h like so: http://s5.tinypic.com/...

This one took quite some time to render. I think that's because of all the light sources (>1600!) and the gl...

That's weird, that's not how one is supposed to model a water pool but it sure is looking good !
It works as long as the camera is above the water surface. If I want a picture from inside the pool, I'd have to make it a closed volume.

I don't really remember, but I'd guess it was something like 16h.
