Re: Protoestudios
Congrats! Very good execution. Been following whole process and have a Q. (about theoretical side of the phenomena, since I'm also interested in this area). What, in your opinion makes an image "a synthetic photograph"? What or how do you consider specific biases having diminishing impact on such 'p...

Re: Did Epic games buy Path Tracer from Glare?!
About OP, I can only concur on lack of updates and bugfixes, especially on side of plugins... anyways. What's origin of UE's Path tracer? I've read somewhere (UE's Discord or Forums) it was work of former Maxwell~Render developer (?). Otherwise, I find this UE's PT somewhat 'far' from Indigo's or ev...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
If you're operating in extremes (far from 0, 0, 0 XYZ or with XL values, it could be FP precision. Especially on GPU, since it's computationally less precise...

Re: Official measured glass materials from Saint-Gobain
Hi, these are all great for IRL studies and so is an engine, still standing strong in spite the of tides of time. For some time there's rising interest on the market & among CG artists/users in HQ products such as Planiclear, Vision-Lite and the likes (most, simply struggle to produce such visual pr...

Re: Blendigo not functional for Blender 2.93LTS and 3.0
Exporter works fine w/ 2.93LTS, but not in 3.0+ (Python API changed)

:D This is Now. Just render. (500 objects w/ 80 childs) Grass_hairsys.Scene.jpg Blender 2.93.3 LTS, Blendigo Exporter 4.3.3., Indigo Renderer 4.6 How did you manage this. And is it possible with the 3DS Exporter? As mentioned, with Blender & Blendigo exporter. Scene file is attached. About 3...

Re: Stains in denoised rendering
Oof, I see. Shit had hit the fan  For sure, clamping is already fundamental part in every engine for past decade (+ some) & must be working, if not than it "renders" ;) OCL (GPUs) unfit for production. Such a thing should be noted & prioritized... Have you checked, if anything of what is sugges...

Re: Stains in denoised rendering
Strange, I just checked and there's no such issue...
e.g.
Glass scene (mor4us_may_2017_compo.igs) Path OCL, clamp 10, optimize & denoise, halt @ 5s, GTX1070 & M5000.

Re: Stains in denoised rendering
To both...
Fireflies - usual suspects.
Check "clamp contribution" to get rid of those & also render faster (less noise).

Re: losing materials on external mesh
Still, would you care to make your own simple exemplary scene file (describing steps to reproduce) & share it then?
