Woodie : The layout was their idea. LOL you guys are funny. Yes its a PS flare LOL. I didn't think Indigo could do one so I did it that way. Only reason I had noise was because the client asked me to resubmit the sample, and I didn't want it to run for another full day - I didn't have access to my ...

In the end he sends me a message thanking me for my time but he saw more photoreal images from vray... How could this be???!!?? Obviously the weakne...

Should be able to do this using a transparent specular material with some SSS turned on slightly, and also using a IOR of a little above 1.0 (only a small amount above)

Hm no it seems to still be there. I wonder if it is some other settings I need to make for Indigo.

I've attached the IGS file, you can use any EXR map and it seems to do the same thing..

Also attached is EXR map for the studio..

I thought perhaps they were, but it does it in two different EXR maps.

I've found a studio lighting EXR map so I'm going to try that and see if it gets rid of it.

Help with some glass material

Help! I have here a glass cube, with a plane underneath it. The glass is a specular material, IOR 1.51, transparent, with RGB absorb of white (all sliders all the way down so it doesn't absorb) I am using an HDRI EXR environment map, "Campus_probe" Wondering if anyone can help me get rid of the arti...

Hm I think the file doesnt get sent to the master over the tracker, right? I will actually use it to render over LAN but want to run the tracker on my root server (linux). I could try and write a PHP script using SQL for that if you tell me the (socket) commands and what they do. In that case I wou...

@nikolatesla20: What about rewriting the tracker in PHP with MySQL support? That way it would run on both linux and windows Actually a tracker could be written in PHP and SQL, but it's just that then you need a webserver and SQL database, so it does add some overhead. The main reason I made it this...

Even when I run it under the mono wrapper in windows, it exits when I click the "Load Clients" button, but I probably would have to compile it with mono under windows, but I don't know how to compile it as a solution, they only give examples compiling *.cs files, but I need to be able to include dep...

I updated the post and put the source code and binaries zip file on the first page so it's easier to find.

I haven't gotten anywhere with Mono myself yet either unfortunately. Does Indigo run under Linux now?

Shoot, also the INI file saving is not portable to linux, it uses PInvoke calls, but MMoA says everything else should be fine

Sorry bout that guys I never worked with Mono before, I checked some of the platform independence tips and one thing they said was to be careful with file path characters, looks like I do use the bad character search (looking for "\" character), in linux it's ("/") instead, so they recommend using P...
