32 or 64

I have a dual xeon that is capable of 64bit. The IT guy here put the 32bit version of windows on the machine. Does that mean i am limited to all 32bit applications, or can i download and run the 64 bit version of indigo, and if so, is there an advantage to doing so?

Thanks!

8) If this doesn't work, delete all other rendering apps from your system permanently and chant 'Indigo is King' 7 times while bathing in the sweat of 8 healthy men. Cheers, Whaat I do that everytime I install a new version, isn't it in the manual? :shock: On another note, the screenshot of the mat...

Are you using a glass with thickness or the Thin Glass preset? Looks good!
I think the brick floor and bump is nice, no tiling. Is that a sketchup material?

It looks like the unzip program did not create the sub-folders.
For example, I have a folder called "Dialogs" and the three indigologo .gifs when I first open the skindigo folder, and than further sub-folders in the dialogs folder.

it's a little hard to tell, but is the ceiling touching the walls, or is there a gap?
is your indigo set to sun/sky or to black? looks like sun is seeping in.

Only problem I see so far is I don't get an image in the box in the Mat. Editor dialog. Just a square with an x. I copied the previews folder into the Indigo folder. Also, it will preview the image if I click preview by launching Indigo. Is it not updating the 'X - blank image' after you preview? W...

I copied the previews folder into the Indigo folder. Also, it will preview the image if I click preview by launching Indigo. I right-clicked...

Cool, a co-worker wanted to do some renderings and it took maybe 10 minutes to show him how to set up materials, etc with Skindigo and he did a render overnight. He had never done any renderings before, a definite testament to how easy you have made this great exporter to use (and how good Indigo is...

Looks awesome Whaat. Couple questions if it's not too early for them;

how is the roughness factored if there isn't a bump map, or to put it differently, is that in the current exporter under a different name?

and what about that power slider, lights?

again, looks really great and intuitive.

Ok, just checking mainly if the procedure is correct.

Now just to find some time to do some testing.
