Yes, at the time I noticed this but the error seems to come from the luxrender spectrum. I recorded a real flame with a spectrometer since then, I should update the material now!
This seems too cold looking to be a candle flame spectrum - I would have expected a very orange light from such a relatively low temperature blackbody light source.
