[Bug?] Disabling Working Master Checkbox

Post by Whaat » Mon Jul 20, 2009 3:27 pm

As I was doing a network render, I unchecked 'Working Master' and I expected that the master would stop rendering and the slave(s) would continue. Instead, the master kept rendering regardless of whether the box was checked or not.

I would like to have it so the master can stop rendering or rejoin the render as a network render is in progress.

You have to start and stop the render for the working master setting to take effect. That would be a good thing to change in the future.

ps: That is you're thousandth post Dale. Woo!

Hit the Pause button when you want to pause the master. Slaves will keep on uploading their stuff. You can also resume the master afterwards when you hit the Render button. I use it all the time like that.
