haha...yes, that has been keeping me busy which makes it harder to keep SkIndigo up to date. Right now, finishing that tool is tops on my list. Problem is, I have very little free time right now to work on anything. I sometimes wish I could quit my job and just program SU plugins for a living! :wink:

There was a job opening at the Google sketchup team for a coder a month ago.
I thought about forwarding it to you by mail, but forgot about it....
Now I regret it.
People like you should get opportunities imho.

The Indigo instancing system can be pushed pretty far, I think you will find.
Several thousand trees shouldn't be a problem.

btw ono any likelihood of interference (iridescence) film effects
thinking beetles, butterflies, paua shells, bubbles , lens coatings....leggy things that go zap :roll:

I haven't experienced any RAM issues yet and the above scene contained over 6000 tree/vegetation components.
This is fun !!!! :)

Component Spray tool?? I have to check that out.

All those tests are really cool but I think i like the last one best.
