Fast pool material

Post by Oscar J » Thu Jul 17, 2014 2:43 am

Hi,

I'd like a pool water material that resolves more quickly than i.e. this:

or

Doesn't have to be rippled or anything, but I want to be able to render it in BiDir mode without fireflies. Any tips are welcome. Should I use the arch glass tick box?

Specular with IOR of 1.32 and uniform absorption @ 1, Cauchy B = 0.
Don't use Arch glass here, its usable only for flat surfaces without any refraction...

You can adapt the displacement from the first mat...
