What a nice idea!
Most of us are somehow specialized in a area and like to "outsource" certain stuff.

I like your rug, it reminds me of BBBs free mesh sample for generating such,
but since I did one too I have to admit that they look best from close and quite "boring" from far away,
compared to a dcm (hair based) carpet:

WOW! That dcm carpet is great! Im looking for other possibilities like hair and stuff.

Actually my carpet is based on BBBs... (http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/fre ... del/587690)

I did a while ago this carpet particle, but as hard straight stick it doesn't look good.
Can i make it bendable in particle system?

Its better that you do a small group of them all ready bend and then just do a hair emitter with a group or object.

Just use a Simple Deform modifier set to Bend, duplicate it and make several variations and join them to one mesh and instance that over the carpet.
