Hi, I am new to indigo renderer. Could someon pls tell me how to use already available .igm files in 3D s max model. In 3Ds max 2011, I used to link the .igm files to 3Ds max model and it used to work fine. Now I found that the link option itself is not available. btw, I am using Indigomax 3 version and 3D s max 2014.
Pls help.
problem importing igm material in 3Ds max 2014
Re: problem importing igm material in 3Ds max 2014
Hi pks,
You're probably referring to feature available in Maxigo, which is not yet implemented in IndigoMax. It's scheduled for next release. However, at the moment it's not possible to use igm files in IndigoMax.

Oh no!!! So how do I use the igm files I have downloaded? Is there any way at all? I am currently modelling a fully glazed building with a particular type of glass. I have even downloaded the corresponding igm file.

Hi pks,
I have implemented some basic support for IGM files with Indigo External material node.
It will be extended in future, to make workflow easier (direct downloads, database previews and descriptions). Also it will be possible to extract Indigo material nodes from IGM file.
Right now it's a bit limited.
Anyway, hope it helps.
