Sure, I'll make a change for standard bitmap.
Please be advised that most of functionality you're referring to should be available with Indigo Texture Map. Have you tried it? If there's a need I could add a switch for disabling map preview for it, however I cannot do it for standard bitmap.

Have you tried Indigo DoubleSided material?
The indigo texture map works great, turning off the preview before loading the HDR stops the preview so there is no need to add a switch regarding previews.

Ha, yeah I found the double-sided-thin material. I edited my post but you were too quick and quoted it first! :D

I still do not see any of the indigo materials in the slate editor. Is there somewhere i can see what version of indigomax is being used in the rendering setup or anywhere else? I want to make sure there is no conflicts.

Thank you,
Darius Kirschner

Sure. Goto: Customize > Plugin-in Manager and scroll to IndigoMax.dlr in description column it should read: "Indigo Renderer for 3ds Max v.0.3.5"
Please note that material become available only if selected render engine is Indigo and they all belong to Indigo rollout.

To manually remove IndigoMax do following:
1. delete <max root>\plugins\IndigoMax folder
2. delete <max root>\plugins\IndigoMax.dlr file
3. delete <max root>\scripts\IndigoMax folder
4. delete <max root>\scripts\Startup\IndigoMax.ms file

That's it. Hope it helps

The Indigo RT version of IndigoMax works fine for me.
Can you post a screenshot of the error message?
Maybe also try uninstalling any Indigo versions you have around.
