The next version will have full procedural support.
They're so much fun to play with.
I wasted more than an hour today (at work) by fooling around with procedurals
Here's one teapot rendering. Includes multi-materials and blend materials inside blend materials and etc.

Well. I'm not planning to do it at the moment. Maybe after all the main features of Maxigo are done...or maybe someone else would like to do it as a separate project?kl_mar wrote:suvakas, you can scripting material converter for indigo?
I need a bit more info than that. Do you use the latest Maxigo version? Did you try to enable "Fix mesh errors"? Also a screenshot would be good.kl_mar wrote:One question: I export xml scene, but on render some objects shows as boxes. How fix it?
The new version is out now. Get it from the first post !
Most important new features are procedurals support and import/export of Indigo material format (*.igm).
I added two new material types - Indigo Blend and ImportMat. Indigo Blend is almost the same as standard Blend material. The difference is, that you can export it into *.igm format. Also Diffuse and Phong and Medium materials have Export feature added.
ImportMat (as the name says) is for importing *.igm. The new material is created to the same material slot where you put the ImportMat (you'll get it when you use it..should be quite logical). There is also a text box included in ImportMat. You can paste a material code directly into that box and it should generate a material based on that code. Should be a quick and easy way of importing materials that are posted on the forum.
Also some other new stuff is there...like automatic fog creation and some renderer parameters.
Let me know if it works, Ok?
