Hey all,

Here's new Maxigo version for Indigo 2.6.1 with Max 2012 support. You need to have Hotfix installed for Max 2012 or it will not work.
You can get the hotfix from here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps ... ID=9241178
I also added a new feature called Archi glass acceleration (supported since Indigo ver 2.6.1)

Here's the change log:

Code: Select all

Changes in v.2.6:
======================
* added - Architectural Glass Acceleration parameter under "Renderer parameters" (works when BiDir mode enabled)
* fixed - Procedural textures scale
** recompiled for 3ds Max 2012 (** needs at least Hotfix 1 from Autodesk)
A know issue with Max 2012 is, that the progress bar sometimes freezes. I don't know why. Also I've only tested the build on my machine so let me know if it works for you or not.

Suv

Procedural textures are exported using similar size as they have in Max.
No more need to set noise map scale to very small values like 0,001 or smth like that.

It will come, but not for scripted exporter.
Procedurals were 1 minute fix so I added this in.

Thank you so much for creating an exporter for Max 2012. When I saw this tread pop up i got really excited thinking that this ment the new Indigo was out. But this will atleast help the wait..... a little.

Thank you for your hard work on this plugin.

Hmmm Suv, run into a little problem. Max crashes whenever I try to open a scene that has run the maxigo exporter (even without changing any settings or actually exporting).

I'm not sure if it's a new problem, I think I would've noticed it before, perhaps I didn't reopen any scenes since using it in 2012.

Anyway, how to cause it:

1. Make random scene.
2. Open exporter.
3. Save scene.
4. Try to open scene.
-crash-

"An error has occurred and the application will now close.
Do you want to attempt to save a copy of the scene?"

I tried reinstalling maxigo, uninstalling all kinds of other plugins, eventually reinstalled max2012+hotfix+maxigo and still get the same problem.

max2012 x64, vista x64

I'll keep messing around and try to find out what is causing it.

Aha, so that might be whats happening, I tought it was something wrong with max 2012, but when I come to think about it all the scenes that crashes has been maxigo scene's :)

I hope you find out whats wrong, cause I have some scenes I would like to render ;)
