- Material preview
- Area lights, square and rectangle with size adjust (basically meshlight planes but easier and quicker to setup)
- Export individual mesh to indigo external mesh
- Coating panel for materials
- Spotlight, maybe spotlights are not supported but perhaps a workaround via automatically generated IES? Spotlights are useful for positioning due to the interaction and visibility in interface
- Manual viewport colour override

- Export individual mesh... : This is already possible. Select the desired mesh, go to File > Export > Export IGMESH (or similar, haven't got it open).William wrote:Hi I don't see a blendigo wishlist thread so I will start

Otherwise, yes, it would be good to see the rest of those!

Cool! did not knowStompinTom wrote:- Export individual mesh... : This is already possible. Select the desired mesh, go to File > Export > Export IGMESH (or similar, haven't got it open).
There is a coating material but you need to specify the base material (subsequently needing two materials)StompinTom wrote:- Coating panel: Thought this was put in recently?
I'm talking placing the coating like this

Live Viewport Preview !!!!! Like we saw it in Cindigo or OtoyBlender. Might not be the fanciest feature, but for the workflow it would be quite a hack!

this way would make a lot of sense.William wrote: There is a coating material but you need to specify the base material (subsequently needing two materials)

additionally, I would like to see null materials with emission properties available, now that it's possible in Indigo. (with back-face emit option, too!)

+1. The single most longed for exporter feature me thinks. It's 2014 after all.steven369 wrote:Live Viewport Preview !!!!! Like we saw it in Cindigo or OtoyBlender. Might not be the fanciest feature, but for the workflow it would be quite a hack!

No? You could simply activate it in c4d...
"Preview region" or something like that.

The idea behind a live preview is that the renderer don't need to "rebuild" the whole scene again (like calculating subdiv, sample the HDRI, build BVHs etc.)zeitmeister wrote:No? You could simply activate it in c4d...

At the moment C4Ds RegionRender does exactly that :/

Re: Blendigo Wishlist
Fused told me some time ago that Cindigo keeps some things in the RAM when rerendering a scene.
I remember that i got the impression at some point, but in the latest versions it definately doesnt any more.
It would be so cool to get Indigo let the user decide wether "rebuild complete" or "export only changes" on export or rendering, you are very right.

Re: Blendigo Wishlist
It once had a simply but powerfull hack, 'export without geometry'... very usefull to tweaking a scene.zeitmeister wrote:Fused told me some time ago that Cindigo keeps some things in the RAM when rerendering a scene.
