Not to be snarky, but it would be quite hard for a noob like me...else I wouldn't be seeking help in this forum.

Anyway, I tried scaling down by 100 by hitting the "S" key and then typing "-100" but that just made the objects WAY bigger. I also tried typing a "-" in front of the present Scale X, Scale Y and Scale Z values (in the Transform properties window), but this just changed the objects position in the 3D window?!? How EXACTLY do you scale down the model by 100?

searching for the next windmill...

When will someone write a Indigo for Blender book?

You need to scale by 1/100 to make it 1/100th of it's current size.

-100 scales it factor 100 in the negative direction.

Battling Blender and Indigo at the same time can be a challenge!
