dof preview in open gl windwow?

dof preview in open gl windwow?

Would be cool if we could see this. Would be much faster than waiting for our scene to render :D

Don't think that's possible to be honest. Have yet to see any 3D application supporting DOF in viewport. And with the upcoming (?) GPU rendering, it wouldn't be much faster anyway.

I would preview/estimate DOF in whatever 3d app you use outside of Indigo.
The DOF obviously won't behave exactly the same but in a way similar. A good habit to set manual focus points anyway. (Or do it in post :P)

C4D has this for instance for realtime DOF (starts at around 4 minutes):

I'm not sure about the videos that kklors posted but DOF in openGL is easily approximated by jitering the camera position several times per frame around the focal point.
