frog eats bug

Post by Bilski » Mon Oct 26, 2009 2:29 am

I have been learning indigo for the last couple of months. I finally came up with an image worth posting. This is modeled with blender. I find indigo's meterials and camera settings amoung other things much more user friendly than blender's. I am not totally satisfied with my textures and would love to see an in depth tutorial on materials, including :albedo, bump, and displace. Not to mention how to write those wonderfull .igms that are posted on the materials page.

That's a really sweet image :) The lighting is gorgeous and the subtle motion blur on the fly wings is excellent. It may not look exactly real, but the look it has works regardless. Very nice.

Nice! I like the bug motion blur. And happy frog's face :)
