I rendered the caterpillar testscene for 3min:
Radeon HD 5850
SPP : 268,18
GPU Load: ~60%
Geforce GTX 560Ti
SPP : 299
GPU Load: ~40%
Geforce GTX 660 Ti
SPP : 316
GPU Load: ~30%
I would like to see the result of a Radeon HD 7950 or 7970.
i have both in the same board,
caterpilar 3m gtx680 cuda - 419.38spp - drivers 306.97.
caterpilar 3m hd7970 opencl1.2 - 421.33spp - drivers 12.10.
no overclock.
compared to a t8200 cpu, this are rockets.
Just made the same test with version 4.0.39:
CPU: spp : 415 (i7-5930K)
GPU: spp: 9220 (GTX 1080)
Thats amazing
about 20times faster than my overclocked 6core CPU.

I changed my single GTX 1080 for Dual GTX 1070 and found that a single GTX 1070 does nearly the same spp than a GTX 1080 in Indigo. In Luxmarks small scene the GTX 1070 has about 16000 points and the GTX 1080 about 12000. Somehow strange.
Maybe thats a driver issue for OpenCL and gets fixed in the future, but in the moment I would definetly go for a GTX 1070.

Hi!
Anyone with results from RX 480?
As lately there were some improvements for rendering with Cycles (openCL).
Note: Nvidia GTX 10xx cards are not optimized yet; CUDA8 is in development.
On the koro and fishy cat scene, the RX 480 is after all latest commits to the split kernel the fastest card.
29min37 for Koro compared to the best time of 42min14 for the 980Ti on Linux.
8min52 for Fishy Cat compared to 10min15 for the 1080X on Linux and 11min04 for the 980Ti on Linux.
