Mormon bryce

Post by benn » Fri Sep 11, 2009 2:28 pm

It turns out Bryce is a religious man and has gone to the church. This scene is from my forthcoming techniques manual chapter on 'shafts of light in a dusty room', due to be released on the indigorenderer website later today. Thanks for your time.

Erm well, ... what an empty church. :P :D ;)

benn you really should consider to render smaller images, render longer or render a bit longer
and rescale the image so it looks a bit more "finished". Maybe ask somebody else to render
it for you.

btw. you guys should really get in touch with Victor from http://renderplus.net ...
They offer a renderfarm (beta) for a competitor and they just ask for $14/hour!
I'm sure, thats the cheapest farm you'll find and a lot of people would love to
use Indigo with such a nice service.

edit: I missed the thread was in the WIP section, so forget about the "quality".

I guess they do. AFAIK it's just one big difference. The most farms calculate by per GHz-Hour
which can get very expensive if you've a complicated scene/many images/animation. And at least
thats how it is right now, Victor is providing his service per hour. So if you use all his 16 Xeons
and let it run for 1 hour you still pay $14. ;)
