cubes

Post by 3D Geek » Wed Jul 29, 2009 2:50 pm

this is just a project that i started recently, i was kid of going for some fantasy based scene but i haven't been able to achieve anything that i think fits in that category. Any suggestions on how to make my scene look more like what im going for?

Please define "fantasy" ? I guess you could switch the environnment from "Physical Sky & Sun" to "None" and make your cube material a blackbody emitter, you could then play with the temperature to get different moods. IIRC the lower you go the blue-er/cooler mood you get and the higher you go the more orangy/warmer the mood gets.

I cant really think of anything else...Except maybe trying out DoF and/or aperture diffraction.

Orienting the cubes in regard with the "loops" surface was a good point methinks, even fantasy needs to be readable ;)

Would you animate and mo-blur things ?

If you use windows you have to execute the <AnimFrames.cmd> in the indigo folder.

Do you have "Autorun" selected when you export your indigo scenes through indigo? That just might solve your problem? (I'm guessing here ive never rendered an animation before)

well i had autorun enabled before but i tried disabling it and i tried rendering a simple cube animation but i still got a bunch of igs files for each frame. Didn't ZomB render a car animation recently?
