Re: Beginner interior
How about reposting your image so we dont have to hop over to the other one?

Re: Beginner interior
ok well ill post the new image and then my first one for a comparison. In my new picture i raised the painting, took the size down on the floor planks and i made a new window frame because i couldn't get the first one to smooth out.

Re: Beginner interior
Hi madcoo not bad for a beginning
Technically I'm finding the bump mapping too strong. Did you manage to use exit portals ?
Looking forward for more furnitures, and a different camera angle maybe !

Re: Beginner interior
thats better but theres way too much floor on there, it makes the render "unbalanced". the lower part is practically empty where as the top part is full.

Re: Beginner interior
Yeah i know, i was looking through the interiors in the gallery and i noticed that almost all of them have area rugs so i think i might make an attempt at making one. Any furniture ideas to fill that space?

Re: Beginner interior
the image is a little more balanced this time but those chairs really look like a cube with part of the top face intruded downwards with subsurf and a few loop cuts. not very inviting lacks detail

Re: Beginner interior
ok, well here i made different chairs .I was also thinking about adding a ficus or some other type of plant in the space between the sofa and the painting, do you know of any tutorials on how to modle that kind of stuff because ive never really made a scene with any foliage before.
