Quick Renders

Post by jteh715g1 » Mon Jun 15, 2009 7:49 am

I was just a little bored this morning so i decided to do something a little worthwhile. I know neither are any good but I just would like to get some opinions on my work. Please, criticize me.

Tried to make it a sunrise at a lake. Turned out decent. But i would like it to be better.

Just a few blocks lying on a floor. I tried some other different colors and lighting situations but none really worked. This was the best.

The sunset one is cool!
Just replace that rotten trees by some nice high detailed one, give your stones some displacement and your water a nice bump map/displacement and it will be awesome :)
Oh and the boat looks like cut from one big tree stem in one part :D

Oh, thank you for that tip. I'll try to add the bump, and displacement. The only reason I modeled such a boring tree was because my computer sucks and high poly stuff really makes it bad. But I'll see what i can do. Thanks again.
