Desk toy

Post by hstokholm » Sun Feb 15, 2009 3:54 am

Hey everybody..

I thought I would join the competition :) The only problem is that the only toy I have is a little plush camel so it is going to be a little tricky.. Does anyone have a good way to make the fur.? Right now it's just particles converted to mesh, and that gets a little poly heavy.. I will try to work on the material, but I doubt it will be very realistic this way..
Comments appreciated..

Maybe you can apply the same technique than with sprite grass, mixing a fur clump texture with a null material. Use step_blend for the blend texture if available.

If you don't know what I am talking about, you will find the grass tutorial in the Tutorials forum, here. I'm sure you know it hstockolm !
